During my tenure at Intel, I created diverse infographics ranging from corporate data storytelling to breaking down complex technical concepts like how a 49-Qubit processor works. Some of my greatest challenges as a designer and creative director came from projects like this, because making quantum computing visually digestible is no small feat.
Each infographic required navigating input from multiple stakeholders, incorporating rounds of legal reviews, and refining content through final approval processes. But the real challenge wasn’t just getting approvals, it was distilling incredibly complex information into clear visual stories that made sense.
My process always started with the same question: what’s the one thing we need people to understand? From there, I built visual hierarchy that guided the eye naturally, using color, scale, and white space strategically. Technical experts could dive into the details while general audiences could grasp the core concept at a glance.
The strategy was never decoration, it was clarity with purpose. Every data point, every icon, every choice served the story. I sweated the details, from kerning to accessibility standards, because great infographics work when the execution is tight.
The result? Content that transformed technical precision into something people actually wanted to look at and share. Information that moved people, not just informed them.
Always with intention. Never just data dumps.

Amber worked on my team for over four years, first as a designer and then as head of the design team. She is an extremely talented designer, manager, and business partner. She understands the business need behind the story she is trying to tell. Amber has an incredibly high bar for quality and combines creative beauty with the principles of good design. I highly recommend Amber as a designer and team/design lead.
