I was hired in 2015 as the sole graphic designer for Intel’s Corporate Services group, tasked with visually aligning all communications to support Intel’s global strategic goals. At the time, corporate communications were fragmented and inconsistent. My job was to fix that.
I started by creating brand-compliant templates and training internal teams and third-party vendors on how to use them correctly. From there, my role evolved into developing comprehensive visual identity across the entire brand architecture, creating cohesive guidelines, identity systems, and toolkits that empowered teams to execute consistently without needing a designer for every asset.
I built robust design systems for new products, rebrands, and acquisitions, directed art direction for foundational brand assets, and guided bespoke applications across merchandise and events. Managing Brand Central, Intel’s central repository for guidelines and assets, I ensured teams could access what they needed when they needed it, maintaining brand integrity across a global organization of 100,000+ employees.
The goal wasn’t control, it was empowerment. Give people the right tools and clear guidelines, and they’ll create work that elevates the brand rather than dilutes it.
Always with intention. Never just brand police.

Amber is an extremely talented graphic designer. She’s able to translate complex ideas into dynamic, easy-to-digest content to truly enhance communications. She was instrumental in developing internal brands for several projects and is incredibly knowledgeable and current on industry/design trends. I appreciate her dedication to delivering high-quality work, while keeping objectives in mind.
